EZEELAND Business Solutions

Software development · AI · Offshore teams

Two ways we help. Build it, or run it.

Ezeeland is a New Zealand company. We build the software you cannot buy off the shelf, and we put AI inside it so it does real work. We also run hire and run the team that answers your phones and clears your paperwork, and our own AI does the repetitive part of their job.

Start with one. Most clients add the other later.

Auckland, New Zealand. Owned and registered here.
Our team has run contact centres in four parts of the world, including
sales, quality and support for New Zealand and Australian businesses.

What we do

The two things we sell. Nothing else.

We are not a marketing agency and we are not a labour hire company. We build software with AI in it, and we run teams with the same AI behind them. The same people do both, which is the whole point.

One

Your software development and AI partner

We build the system you cannot buy off the shelf, and we put AI inside it so it does the work, rather than just showing you it could.

  • Software built for you. Customer portals, intake and booking, tools for your own staff, and reports people will actually open.
  • Joining things up. We make the software you already pay for talk to itself, so nobody types the same thing twice.
  • AI that works on your own records. Reading, sorting, writing first drafts, checking. Not a chat box stuck on your website.
  • A senior lead and a full team, for less than two senior developers cost you here.
  • You own it. Code, data and accounts are yours, in the contract.

Two

Your offshore outsourcing and AI partner

We hire, train and run the team that answers your calls and clears your paperwork. Our own AI does the repeating part of their work.

  • Calls, chat and email. Inbound, outbound, overflow and after-hours cover. Sales, customer support and retention.
  • Back office. Data entry, claims and billing paperwork, order processing, records, follow-ups.
  • Quality, watched properly. Calls scored against your standard, not ours, with the recordings there for you to listen to whenever you want.
  • Your hours, or around the clock. We have hired and run teams in Latin America, the Philippines, India and Europe, and we recruit yours where your hours and your language actually need it.
  • We manage them, you do not. Recruiting, training, rosters, quality checks, sick days and turnover are our problem. You get one manager and a weekly number.
  • Our system, or yours. We have our own omnichannel platform and CRM your team can work in. If you would rather stay in the software you already use, we work in that instead.
  • Start small. Three people on the phones is a fine place to begin. Grow it when it works.

The experience behind the offer

This is not a new idea we are trying out on you.

We have spent our working lives in the contact centre business. We have hired, trained and run teams of a couple of thousand people, in four parts of the world. That is the experience behind your team, even if your team starts with three people.

  • 2,000 the largest contact centre operation our founders have run, in a previous business. You only pay for the people on your own job.
  • 4 regions Latin America, the Philippines, India and Europe. Where we have hired, trained and managed contact centre teams over the years.
  • 1 contract One company answers for the work, under New Zealand law, even when it crosses borders.

Why both halves matter

Most outsourcers sell you people. Most software firms sell you code.

An outsourcing company makes more money the more people you need. So nothing ever gets automated. A software company builds you a tool and leaves, and nobody on the floor changes how they work on Monday.

We do both. The people building the AI sit with the people doing the work, on the same floor, on your account. So the AI is not a slide in a deck. It is switched on as soon as your team goes live, and it keeps getting better because the people using it tell us what is still slow.

  • One contract, one bill, one company to ring.
  • As volume grows the AI handles more of it, so your cost per call falls instead of rising. We will show you the maths on the call.
  • Start with either half. Add the other whenever you want.

Built by us, not bought

Our own AI, built for contact centres.

We did not buy this off a shelf and put our name on it. We wrote it because we have run contact centres ourselves, and we know exactly which minutes of the day get wasted.

It runs inside our own omnichannel platform and CRM, which your team can work in from day one. If you would rather stay in the software you already use, we put it behind that instead.

It comes with the team. It is not a separate licence you pay for.

Answers the easy ones

Opening hours, order status, appointment changes, where is my delivery. The calls and chats that never needed a person.

Writes the notes

Every call is summarised and filed while the agent is still saying goodbye. No more typing up after the call, which is where the time really goes.

Fills in the forms

What was said on the call goes into your system by itself. Nobody re-keys a name, a date of birth or a policy number.

Sorts what comes in

Every call, email and message goes to the right queue and the right person the first time, instead of being passed around.

Tells the supervisor where to look

Which calls went badly, which customer is about to walk, which agent is having a hard day. Today, not in next month's report.

Checks the paperwork

Missing details, wrong numbers, duplicates, claims that will bounce. It flags them before they cost you money.

The point is not that it is clever. The point is that fewer people do work a machine should be doing, and the people you keep spend their day on the part that genuinely needs a person.

A person still signs off anything that matters. Every step is recorded. You can switch any part of it off in one click.

Who we work with

Mostly treatment centres. Some consumer brands.

We would rather be genuinely useful in a few industries than vaguely available in all of them.

A calm clinic intake desk. A coordinator on a headset in warm daylight.
Most of our work today

Behavioural and mental health treatment centres

The work is the same in every country: the first phone call, the referral from a partner clinic, the insurance paperwork, and getting a person from that first call to admission without them slipping through a gap. We answer those calls and we build the systems behind them. Some of our clients use us for both.

A consumer brand fulfilment space with cartons on shelves and a lit product photography table.
Our first client

Consumer brands, ecommerce and direct response TV

A leading direct response television brand was the first client this business ever had. When the advert runs, the phones do not ring gently. They all land in the same ten minutes. We staffed those calls, took the orders and handled everything after them: questions, returns, repeat orders. We have done the same for a long list of online retailers since. That is where we learned to build for volume that arrives all at once.

Closer to home

New Zealand and Australian businesses

We have run sales, quality and customer support for businesses in this part of the world before, in a previous life. Ezeeland is how we do it from here, under a New Zealand company. A business here does not need two hundred people on the phones. It needs three who answer properly, and software that stops the same job being typed in twice. We will run a team of three as carefully as we have run teams of three hundred.

Whatever the industry, the problem is the same one: too many calls, too much paperwork, and a team that is too busy to fix either.

The United States work above was delivered by the people who founded Ezeeland, in their previous business.

How it works

Three steps, and you can stop after the second.

  1. Talk

Thirty minutes on the phone. You tell us what your week looks like and where it jams. We tell you plainly which half you need, or whether you need us at all.

Costs you nothing but the half hour.

  2. Look

Two weeks. We sit with your team and map where the work actually happens, how many calls, how long each one takes, what gets re-typed and where things fall over.

You get it back in writing: what to fix, what to automate, what to staff, and what it costs to run each month. Yours to keep, with us or without us.

  3. Start small

A first team on the phones within a few weeks, or a first build shipping working software every two weeks. Prove it on one thing before you move the rest of the business onto it.

One point of contact. No handover to a junior team after you sign.

The question everyone asks second

Your information, and where it actually sits.

If we answer your calls and build your systems, we are holding your customers' information, and in healthcare some of it is health information. So we put it in writing before anything starts: what we can see, what we can never see, which country it is stored in, and who has access.

You pick the country

New Zealand, Australia, the United States, or wherever your team sits. It goes in the design at the start, not discovered later.

Privacy law, both sides of the Tasman

The Privacy Act 2020 here and the Australian Privacy Principles across the Tasman. Built in from the first day, not bolted on after something goes wrong.

Health information has extra rules

The Health Information Privacy Code here, and HIPAA for our United States clients. Our staff are trained to it and the floor is set up for it: locked screens, no phones, no paper leaving the room.

If something goes wrong, you have to report it

Both countries require it. We build the record that lets you do it properly instead of guessing.

Honest bit

Who we are good for, and who we are not.

We are a good fit if

  • You are drowning in calls, paperwork, or both.
  • You have roughly 10 to 300 people, or a call volume that spikes hard and then goes quiet.
  • You hold information that matters: patients, clients, orders, claims.
  • You tried an AI tool and nobody's workload actually went down.
  • You cannot justify hiring two senior developers locally, but you need work at that level.

We are the wrong call if

  • You want the lowest hourly rate you can find. There is always someone cheaper.
  • You want a website or a logo. We do not do that.
  • You want a demo nobody intends to use.

Questions people actually ask

Straight answers.

The ones that come up on almost every first call. If yours is not here, ask it on the call and we will answer it the same way.

Where is your team?

Ezeeland is a New Zealand registered company and your point of contact is here. Your team is built for you and works a full overlap with your hours. We have run contact centre operations in Latin America, the Philippines, India and Europe, so we put your team where your hours, your language and your rules need it. One contract, one invoice, one company accountable, under New Zealand law.

Can we start with just the call centre?

Yes. Most clients start with one half. The AI comes with the team either way, and the build side is there when you want it.

How small can we start?

Three people on the phones, or one build. We would rather you started small and stayed ten years than signed something big and regretted it in month four.

Is the AI an extra charge?

No. It comes with the team and is switched on as soon as the team goes live. We are not charging you a licence fee for a tool we already use to run the work.

What if the AI gets something wrong?

It will, sometimes. A person checks anything that matters, there is a record of what it did and why, and you can switch it off in one click. Anyone telling you their AI does not make mistakes has never run one.

Do we own what you build?

Yes. Code, data and accounts are yours. That sits in the contract, not in a promise on a website.

What does it cost?

It depends on how many people you need and what we are building, so there are no prices on this page. Book the call and we will talk about money on it, not after three meetings. Prices in NZD, GST exclusive. Australian clients are invoiced in AUD, United States clients in USD.

Is there funding for this?

Australian businesses may be able to claim eligible development work under the R&D Tax Incentive. New Zealand has innovation support programmes that change from time to time, and we will tell you what currently applies. We are engineers, not your accountant. [tbc: verify the current New Zealand programme name before launch. Naming one that no longer exists costs credibility instantly.]

Next step

Tell us what your week looks like.

Thirty minutes on the phone. We will tell you which half you need, or that you do not need us. Either answer is worth half an hour.

What to expect
One call, no deck. We ask how the work moves through your week, tell you which half of what we do would help and which would not, and talk about what it would cost. No three-meeting run-around.
